Help YourDMS to raise money for Special Care Baby Unit at Great Western Hospital

On Friday 5 July, YourDMS Directors Stewart and Beverly Wright celebrated the arrival of their first grandchildren, when their daughter Alice gave birth to twins Harrison and Amelia.

Harrison and Amelia were born 5 weeks early and had to go straight to the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at the Great Western Hospital, Swindon.  From the minute they were admitted the care they received was second to none.  Each and every nurse/doctor were always on hand to help with every question Alice and her partner Scott had and help with everything the children required.

Without fundraising SCBU wouldn’t get the equipment it needs and every little bit helps. Each year, over 450 babies need additional support in the first few days and weeks of their lives.  Many of the babies weigh less than a bag of sugar and can fit in the palm of your hand.

Alice and Scott are raising raise money for this worthwhile cause as it was invaluable to them, not only whilst the babies were in the hospital but also with the support they’ve had since coming home.  All money raised will help to replace 10  incubators.

They are holding a charity golf day in September, which we are delighted to be sponsoring, and have set up a Just Giving page. If any of our customers would like to make a donation, you can visit their page here. All donations are greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
